The ICON KYC process will begin on Monday Oct. 23, 2017 at 13:00 (KST/UTC+9). The KYC application form will be available for your submission for 3 weeks. To unlock your received ICX tokens* from Pre-sale, it is mandatory to follow the KYC process. More details will be available for your view with a step-by-step guideline in line with the schedule.

- Fill in your personal data and upload Government-Issued Photo ID onto the Application Form.
After KYC process completion, all personal data collected during the KYC process will be deleted.
KYC Photo Upload Guideline
Upload following Two Photos:
- A photo of your Passport or Government-Issued Photo ID(see image 1*)
- A photo of you holding the Passport or Government-Issued Photo ID(see image 2*)
*MUST HIDE your unique identification number on your Government-Issued Photo ID when submitting the photos. Else the form will be returned and the KYC process will remain incomplete.
### AML (Anti-Money-Laundering)
In order to protect ICON contributors from illegal parties, the ICON team has partnered with a Singapore based Fintech company, Cynopsis Solutions. Cynopsis Solutions is a KYC specialized company that provided KYC services for various blockchain projects.
After the KYC Application Submission close, the received KYC data is run through Cynopsis Solution’s Artemis AML (Anti-Money-Laundering) algorithm to ensure security, and the safe distribution of ICX. The AML filtering will take additional 2 weeks after KYC Submission Period to be fully processed. The expected KYC process completion(submission & review) is in late November.
